BathCamp

ideas and interesting people

We're looking to run BathCamp (that's the "big" event - 24 hours of barcamp-style meetup) again this summer.

** UPDATE - we ARE running the event this summer...! See this page ***

We need your help...

If you:

- have a venue, or know of a venue ** UPDATE: now sorted! See this page **
- might be able to provide sponsorship
- have equipment, expertise or time to get involved in organising it...

...then we need you!

So. Please get in touch, either here, via @bathcamp, via email to me (mike D0T ellis / geemail DOT c0m) or however else. Without sounding like a prize tool (imagine!), BathCamp is the people who come to BathCamp, or (as someone famous once said) - "without you, we are nothing...".

Hi Mike,

Cant really help with organization, but I could volunteer doing an enterprise talk on Scala (http://www.scala-lang.org/) and Lift (http://liftweb.net/) - i've been a committer on Lift for quite some time now and im also speaking at the Java Devoxx in Antwerp this coming november...

If its of interest, just hit me up on Twitter (@timperrett)

Cheers, Tim

Hi Guys, would love support BathCamp in someway. Not exactly sure what we can do but we should talk.

I run the BBC Backstage Project - backstage.bbc.co.uk and the first to bring BarCamp to the UK via BarCampLondon, BarCampLondon2, BarCampLondon3.

I live in Manchester now but would love to make this event if its a overnight barcamp.

You can email me on ian.forrester@bbc.co.uk

Thanks Tim. We'll probably do that barcamp thing and leave talk organising until the day - but those sound most good so contributions would be great

Just to say I'm interested in coming along. Happy to help out with general 'stuff' if there is anything I can do beforehand from a distance, or on the weekend itself.
