BathCamp - the barcamp 2009

We're looking to run BathCamp (that's the "big" event - 24 hours of barcamp-style meetup) again this summer.

We need your help...

If you:

- have a venue, or know of a venue ** UPDATE: now sorted! See this page **
- might be able to provide sponsorship
- have equipment, expertise or time to get involved in organising it...

...then we need you!

So. Please get in touch, either here, via @bathcamp, via email to me (mike D0T ellis / geemail DOT c0m) or however else. Without sounding like a prize tool (imagine!), BathCamp is the people who come to BathCamp, or (as someone famous once said) - "without you, we are nothing...".

Thanks for the email, I dont think I can help with a venue but would be more than happy to help with hosting the website for Free and any thing else to do with hosting on Linux or Windows.

This is great news. I was hoping there would be a second BathCamp BarCamp. I am obviously a lot of miles away, but if I can help with anything then please ask. I know that @duck365 would love to come along.

Starting to look like I might have some time to devote to an event this summer after all so if you need any help let me know. Can't think of a decent venue in Bath but I'll ask around..

I'll volunteer myself to give some help if i can. I've got a little more time after the middle of August as well.

As for venue, what about the Guildhall? or somewhere at the uni?

As jukesie said, transport to/from Bath probably helpful. Are other half's likely to be ok to drop in for some of the no-talky bits?

Hi Suzi - we're hoping to lay on some kind of transport to/from Bath and maybe Bristol too. Depends on numbers what/how/who, but it's definitely something we're thinking about..
